The set up was simple with very clear instructions for programming. It worked the 1st time and all of the software gave the impression to work as designed. The programming was much simpler than my earlier weather radio. The volume for sound reports is excellent and the aerial appears to bring in the weather channel with no issues. I am also very happy to listen to that Midland is perfecting a way to condense the area where reports are made. Weather warning is still done over a a lot wider area that certain needs. This certainly has been a issue for everyone who use weather radios. You receive a lot more reports that you really require.
