Even though this Television is LED, it's not as slim as you are used to seeing. I think it's only more than 3 inches thick in the rear, however it has a very thin bezel up front. It has little connections in back, but all I will ever use is HDMI, so that does not concern me. Display quality out-of-the-box is fantastic and developed into even better with some adjusting. That is usually the initial thing I do is try to eyeball calibrate it at first. It really is too new to have superior calibration configurations posted online; I determine I will utilize last year's 'D' model as a guide and wait till configurations are posted. I didn't detect any flash-lighting on this version -- something that affected last year's 'D' lineup. I have yet to play any 1080p material on this to actually try it (only viewed a short while of High definition tv ((720p)) broadcasts), so I will up-date this post when I do.
